Proof Positive

We build it. Then we make sure it keeps working.

Proof Positive is how we stay in your corner after the big project ships — monitoring performance, refreshing creative, protecting the brand, and making sure the strategy keeps compounding.

What it is

Proof Positive is our ongoing partnership. It picks up where a Proof of Scale engagement ends, and it exists for a simple reason: the work doesn't stop when the project does.

Positioning drifts. Campaigns need optimization. Creative gets stale. Your product evolves. New competitors show up. The team grows, and the people who weren’t in the room for the original strategy start making decisions without the context.

Proof Positive keeps us close enough to catch all of that. We monitor, refresh, advise, and protect, so the investment you made in positioning and brand keeps paying off months and years after launch. Our goal is to get you to the place where you don't need us anymore. Until then, we're here.

What we typically do

Every Proof Positive engagement is customized to fit where you are after the big project. But here's what it usually looks like:

Campaign performance monitoring — we check how your marketing is actually performing and recommend adjustments.

Creative library refresh — updated ad assets, seasonal adjustments, new campaign materials as you need them.

Brand guardian training — we train an internal person to be the brand guardian, backed by a brand standards manual that covers both messaging and design.

Competitive intelligence — what's changed in your space, who's moved, and what it means for your positioning.

Website optimization — A/B tests on messaging, layout, and conversion flows when the data suggests there’s room to improve.

Trend briefings — what’s happening in SaaS at your stage that you should know about.

Peer roundtables — roundtables and workshops with other SaaS marketers at a similar stage solving similar problems.

The mix shifts over time. Early on, we’re more hands-on. As your internal team matures, it shifts toward advisory. The engagement typically scales itself down over time.

Who it's for

Proof Positive is for clients who've completed a Proof of Scale engagement and want to maintain momentum rather than starting over in twelve months.

You've invested in positioning, brand, website, and marketing that works. Now you need someone watching the instruments, someone who knows the strategy from the inside and can tell you when something's drifting before it becomes a problem.

You might also be building out an internal marketing team for the first time, and you need a partner who can bridge the gap until that team is fully ramped.

Why it’s needed

Brands don't decay all at once. They erode slowly. A new hire changes the pitch slightly. A campaign launches without checking the messaging framework. Someone picks a new color because the brand ones felt boring. The sales team starts describing the product differently than the website does.

None of these are catastrophic on their own. Together, over six to twelve months, they undo the work. Proof Positive is insurance against drift. It keeps the brand coherent, the marketing effective, and the returns compounding.

Where Proof Positive picks up

When the time is right

We'll bring it up when we see the main engagement starting to wind down. Usually one of us says it first — the project is nearly shipped, the big deliverables are landing, and it's time to talk about what comes next.

Sometimes the answer is nothing. You're in great shape, your team can run with it. That's a success.

More often, there's a natural transition period where having us around — even at a fraction of the original engagement — protects what you’ve built and keeps things moving in the right direction.

How to get started

If you're a current or former client, reach out anytime via email — sofya@proofdept.com or in our shared Slack channel. We'll talk about where things stand and build a Proof Positive package around what you actually need. If you're new to Proof, take a look at Proof of Scale first. Proof Positive follows a deeper engagement.

“Working with Proof Dept felt like having a top-tier agency, minus the layers. Big ideas, sharp execution, and a real sense of partnership. They move fast, think strategically, and helped our brand cut through the noise in an impactful way.”

Location

Fully remote. Regular check-ins over Zoom, async collaboration via Loom and Slack.

Cadence

Typically a standing monthly call with async support in between. The rhythm adjusts based on what's happening — busier months get more attention.

Duration

Month-to-month. No long-term lock-in. Either side can end it with 30 days’ notice. We'd rather you stay because it's working than because you're stuck in a contract.

Cost

Typically $5,000–$25,000 per month depending on the scope and intensity of work. Heavier execution months (new campaign builds, animated ad libraries, product launches) may run higher. We'll agree on scope and pricing together, and it adjusts as your needs evolve.
